Our friends Gigi and Doug's canine companion Dozer will be joining team Lilo and Lou! Dozer is an amazing dog who surfs regularly. You may have seen him in the film Marmaduke this summer in which Dozer plays a surfing Bulldog. Lilo and Lou is looking forward to having Dozer modeling our fabulous designer dog bed duvets!

Stephanie Veltri holds a BA in Fine Arts with an emphasis on drawing and sculpture and a BFA in Interior Design. She has worked for one of the most prestigious high end residential design firms in San Diego, California where she received her professional training. She is active in the design community and is a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Veltri is an allied member of A.S.I.D.
Veltri’s canine companions are Taz a Brussels Griffon “Lilo” and Frank a Pug “Lou.” They enjoy singing their own version of opera at home with her. “It makes us smile, and the dogs like to be involved,” she says. When we go back to California the boys love to play at dog beach on Coronado Island. Lou loves to run right into the crashing waves while Lilo would much rather find someone on the beach with a picnic basket. The boys have their own car seats and a stroller!” Veltri exclaims. The interior designer currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband, and Lilo and Lou. “The dogs are excited about the seasons changing and running through the leaves. They are enjoying chasing each other in circles in the yard. However, their favorite thing to do is lounge on their designer dog bed duvets & dog pillow shams. We used to have to put the dog beds upstairs when company came over. Now they make fabulous conversation pieces!”
Stephanie Veltri is a supporter of animal rights. She has been deeply motivated by animal rights activist and celebrity Doris Day who has founded DDAF. Ms. Day’s lovely hotel in Carmel called the Cypress Inn is not only tastefully designed, but dogs are welcome there. “I think all hotels should be like this! After all, our dogs deserve the very best,” Stephanie says. Designer Nancy Corzine having two Yorkshire Terriers has inspired Stephanie in including your pets in your home design. “Be inspired,” Nancy told her once. Stephanie took that advice and thought, “That is exactly what I will do.” Thus, the Designer Dog Duvet came to be.
